Class: Pre-Bulerias
Level: Beginner I (Adults)

This is a  class for those with little or no experience in flamenco. We will be working on Bulerias, one of the most danced  palos in flamenco.  It is a must have for when attending flamenco juergas.  The class will cover basic buleria elements such as marking steps, remates, llamadas, dance-cante relationship, palmas, waiting, and bulerias protocol.  This  will be a regular ongoing class as bulerias learning is never ending. 

No make up classes allowed, a class missed is a class lost. No exceptions.

SATURDAYS

Level: Beginner (5-10 year-olds)
Saturdays: 11am - 12pm
Monthly Fee: 4 weeks is  $60; 5 weeks is  $75

New fun Sevillanas and Intro to Flamenco class is geared for children ages 5-10 years old where they will learn basic flamenco technique as braceo and floreo, palmas and compas (rhythm), footwork patterns, and posture, as well as the four coplas (sets) needed in the sevillanas  and a brief Tango dance chreography.   Parents are responsible for providing the child's proper attire for classes and performances.  A list of where to get the class attire (shoes, skirt, leotard, etc.) will be provided to  upon registration.

No make up classes allowed, a class missed is a class lost. No exceptions.

Class: Bulerias
Level: Intermediate & Advanced Beginner (Adults)
Saturdays, 12:00 - 2:00PM
Monthly $120 (four classes per month)

This is for students who are knowledgeable in flamenco palos and have a basic understanding of footwork, braceo, posture, and Cante. Class emphasis is on developing  the student's individual style as well as working on the dance-singing- guitar relationship. Students explore the ability to improvise by working on , intention and execution of steps, cante awareness, and in impromptu exercises. This class is for the advanced beginner and intermediate student.

No make up classes allowed.  A class missed is a class lost. No exceptions.

Class: Palmas por Bulerias
Level:  All Levels
First & third Saturday of the month, 2:00-3:00pm
$10 Pre-paid or $15 at the door.

Palmas playing is one of the basic ways to learn flamenco rhythms, with out them, the dancing, singing, or guitar playing become indeed challenging. Our emphasis will be on soniquete and palmas accompaniment por bulerias only.
